Hey! There’s a place for you!

On Tuesday 04 February at the headquarters of Nkey srl, Carla Sabatini, founding partner and responsible for the Erasmus+ program in Nkey, brought together all those who responded to the call to participate in a 5-day training trip to Athens next April.

In addition to Monica Nieri and Arianna Falchi, who won the two places for this mobility, all those who responded to the appeal will remain in the ranking and will be contacted for future occasions that will certainly not be missing.

The call for participation in mobility in Greece, has been reserved for all those enrolled in the English courses organized by the Municipality of Santa Croce sull’Arno at the “Adrio Puccini” Municipal Library within the framework of the “Free Age University “program by NKey teachers.

Participation in the selection was enthusiastic and the occasion was seen by everyone as an exceptional opportunity to put into practice what was learned in the courses, visit a fascinating city and above all actively participate in a European project by getting in touch with people from many countries and different cultures.

The trip takes place within the scheduled activities of the “VIRAL for Local Communities” project  (acronym for “Virtual Intercultural Reality for Active Learning) which is at the peak of its path, that is to say at the implementation of all the research work done so far by the University for Foreigners of Perugia in collaboration with the 3 project partners (CEBS in Poland, HIGGS in Greece, APSES in Romania) and the technical and IT support of NKey, leader of the project itself.

The two winners of the call will participate in mobility in Athens as “adult learners” and the final product, the so-called “TOOL BOX” will be tested. The toolbox is the didactic support  through which virtual reality can be introduced for free in educational programs intended for newcomers in small communities across Europe. Thanks to the help of the two participants and the teachers who will follow them, all the work done so far can be put to the test and all the necessary improvements can be made to obtain an educational tool that meets the needs of language schools, training centers, public bodies, libraries, municipalities.

We wish the two participants a good trip and an even more a fantastic experience with the ERASMUS + program.
